A Swiss Biotechnical Company dedicated to drug discovery

Invenesis provides a unique panel of phenotypic and electrophysiological assays, which can be used in combination to perform high or low throughput screening. These assays can also be used to identify the mode of action and potential side effects of a given compound. With this flexibility, Invenesis is able to efficiently identify hits, profile hit compounds, and perform lead optimization cycles, allowing customers to generate Intellectual Property (IP) effectively.

Who we Are

Invenesis is a Swiss biotechnology company based in Neuchâtel, which specializes in providing R&D services for drug discovery to industrial partners in the Animal Health, Plant Protection (Crop) and Pharmaceutical fields, as well as academia. Founded in March 2017 by experienced scientists with over 12 years of experience in drug discovery, Invenesis has a track record of developing successful candidates and drugs that are now on the market.

Where we Are

Since September 2020, the company has been re-located in Saint-Blaise (NE) and now welcomes around 12 employees, a subsidiary in France, and an international clientele consisting of startups and multinationals, as well as academic institutions.

The company headquarters features brand new state-of-the-art laboratories with a total area of 370 sq. meters (including 100 sq. meters of BSL2 labs). Since 2023, more than 160 sq. meters of office space have been available to our team members.

What we Do

As an agile company that is part of an ecosystem of companies focused on developing drugs, pheromones, bio-controls, and biologics for applications in parasitology, agriculture, and human medicine, Invenesis operates on a fee-for-service business model. This allows for lower costs of entry for technologies and expertise, making it an ideal partner for companies looking to share resources and collaborate in the development of new drugs.
