In Brief:
The Invenesis filarial L1 immersion assay measures the effect of compounds on the motility of freshly extracted L1 of filarial species.
L1s of a filarial species are deposited in a multi-well plate and the
treatment formulated in DMSO. Plates are incubated for up to 144h (species
dependent). The effect of compounds is measured as motility reduction. Efficacy
is expressed in % motility reduction compared to negative controls
