In Brief:
The Invenesis tick adult immersion assay evaluates the effect of a 15 minutes bath treatment on adults (mixed sexes) of the ticks.
Ticks are exposed to treated water for 15 minutes and removed from the treatment. Motility is quantified by machine vision for up to 7 days. Motility scores are normalised with negative controls and expressed as percentage efficacy (100 % means no movement is observed).
