In Brief:
The Invenesis flea tarsal assay evaluates the effect of a treated surface on Ctenocephalides felis adult fleas.
Fleas are distributed on a treated surface and left to incubate for up to 24h. Motility of the fleas is then quantified by machine vision after 6h and 24h exposure. Efficacy is expressed in % motility reduction compared to negative controls (100 % means no movement recorded).
