In Brief:
The Invenesis GI L3 assay measures the effect of compounds on L3 of nematodes.
L3 of a gastrointestinal nematode are deposited in a multi-well plate and the treatment formulated in DMSO. Plates are incubated for up to 144h. The effect of compounds is measured as motility reduction using an automated data acquisition system. Efficacy is expressed in % motility reduction compared to negative controls.
